(no subject)

my mum used to tell me the story but hasn't in a very long time. she had taken me out with her - bowling, i think? and they had to evacuate fast. she said the roof had been torn off, but i think that was after we were away. i have a faint memory of low dark heavy sky out of the back window of the car accompanied by excitement/speed/confusion/curiosity.
